is the fifth annual Exhibition of Art from the Margins (AFTM), a creative initiative of Wesley Mission Brisbane (WMB). AFTM offers people experiencing disadvantage and adversity, pathways of personal growth through artistic practice.

This year over 400 works by more than 200 artists will be exhibited at the Brisbane Institute of Art, Albert Street Uniting Church and Wesley House and the Inala Community Art Gallery.
Young women artists from Southside Education will debut their works for the first time at the Inala Community Art Gallery exhibition this year. Southside Education is a new secondary education model for young women. Southside believes that all young people have a right to an education and believes education means preparing all young people for a fulfilling and active life in the community.
